Abstract.

Abdominal Compartment Syndrome is a condition of high intraabdominal pressure in human higher than10mmHg. Etiopathogenesis mechanisms as well diagnostiv methods are subject of contraversies. Abdominal Compartment Syndrome induces rapidly developing polyorganic insufficiency with a fatal prognosis. Due diagnosis is essential for adequate therapy or surgery. Clinical manifestation is equivocal due to complex relationship among high intraabdominal pressure and Abdominal Compartment Syndrome. Radiological appearance stays unclear. The goal of this paper is to establish imaging algorythm in experimental animals in intraabdominal pressure higher than 20mmHg. 37 male Wistar rats are used in the experiment, dived in two
groups: control group of 18 and 19 of real experiment. Ultrasound, Barium radiological examination , CT and angio’s were performed. Radiological methods presents a large number of symptoms in сompartment syndrome and may help due dignosis preventing polyorganic insufficiency
