|Anomalous partial left pulmonary venous drainage

Anomalous partial left pulmonary venous drainage is a rare anomaly consisting in a connection of the left lung draining vein with the right atrium instead the left with. Instead of partial, in total anomalous pulmonary venous drainage all pulmonary veins are draining into the right atrium. Right upper lobe vein draining into the right atrium or superior vena cava is most common among this anomaly. A case left upper lobe pulmonary venous drainage into the left brachiocephalic vein in a 44 years old female is reported, visualized by CT. MSCT visualize clearly the anomalous vessels.
