Simultaneous developed bilateral carcinoma of mammary glands with different histology – magnetic resonance imaging, mammographic and ultrasound findings
- Spirdonov, T. Sedloev
The purpose of the paper is to present the imaging findings from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), mammography and ultrasonography in connection with a female patient with carcinomas of mammary glands (with different, rarely encountered histology) that simultaneously developed in both, left and right breasts. The following conclusions can be drown based on the results from the case presented by us: Performing of ultrasonography with Color Doppler is primarily recommended in connection with cystic formations with initially estimated benign on mammography and ultrasound; In inconclusive data of benignity, contrast enhanced MRI is recommended.
