Increasingly fast developing methods of diagnostic imaging made it possible for finding arteriovenous malformations before they are present with clinical signs and/or complications. This demands to come up with new, more efficient methods of treatment. Endovascular embolization with embolic agents such as nBCA and Onyx, has been proved as successful method for treating arteriovenous malformations. PHIL is a new non-adhesive liquid embolizing agent, for which there are insufficient amount of data. Thus, describing clinical cases based on using PHIL is of great value for evaluation of its qualities. In our case report we present our initial experience with the new liquid embolic agent PHIL.
