Magnetic resonance imaging in malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors (MPNST)

Malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor (MPNST) is biogically an agressive sarcoma with high level of relapse. The prognosis is usually bad for which the treatment of choice is the surgery with adjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy, which don’t have strong evidence for their advantage yet. MR imaging is the most sensitive method to difference and to diagnose MPNST. In this study we present clinical case of MPNST with rare location.
