Congenital mesoblastic nephroma is the most common neonatal kidney tumor. These tumors do not give metastasis, it is well defined and the surgical excision is almost always curative. The association with polyhydramnios is common. We present the prenatal ultrasound findings of mesoblastic nephroma in fetus, confirmed by postnatal magnetic resonance imaging. One month after birth, a left nephrectomy was performed and the baby recovered well. The histological examination confirmed the diagnosis.
