Abstract.

We present a clinical case of 25 years old woman with capillary trabecular bone tissue hemangioma localized in the distal right tibial metaphysis. The specific slow tumor development, without symptoms was observed. The importance of pathohistological diagnostics in combination with the imaging diagnostic methods was also noted. The emphasis was on the pathohistological differential diagnosis, delimiting the benignant from malignant vascular neoplasm. The main treatment methods in hemangioma localized in the bones were discussed. The possibilities for postoperative radiotherapy and radiotherapy alone were presented in the rarely diagnosed trabecular bone tissue hemangioma, localized in the distal trabecular bones.
